Overindulging on something unlimited? It’s more common than you think.

Heh, I’d have a lot more to write about, given my plans for the weekend (cosplay, city dancing, lake swimming, and more), had Friday night not gone a tad out of control for me. I went to Tatsuno’s semester closing/summer vacation starting party of all you could eat and drink. It’s been so long since I drank last, I forgot how careful you need to be with the sake and sochu, both of which I was knocking back like they were shots. I guess you should be careful with shots too now that I think about it. Either way, there is a lone picture on my camera on what I assume was the sanjikai (3rd party) but I don’t remember much past drinking too fast at the second party… (pictured: the first party. He didn't make it as long as me.)

I don’t need to tell you more than that. The rest of the weekend was spent at home in sweltering heat with a nasty headache, sucking back large volumes of water, well over 3 liters on Saturday. In retrospect those were really good days though, I sat around and relaxed for the first time in almost a month. It's weird I have so little to write about, but I have been busy. I went through over 15 hours worth of Japanese lessons, and I believe I graduated to an "intermediate" level of understanding; as opposed to beginner. I got lots of odds and ends done (planning for Vietnam, new car paperwork, etc) and life is going along great. It may be super hot out, but that grants some fantastic lighting storms; they've been really common lately. (pictured: the 3rd party (?) It looks like it might have been fun, eh? ^_^)
